Dancing for Miracles

College student-led Miracle Network Dance Marathon programs raise funds across the country to support local children’s hospitals. As the creator and captain of a fundraising team for the Carolina Band at the University of South Carolina for four years, I wanted to find strategies to improve participation on my team. This inspired my honors college senior thesis, where I produced an online guide of real-world strategies for increasing college band student participation and impact in Dance Marathon programs across the country. This website and its content were created based on experience and virtual interviews with other college band students involved in Dance Marathon.  I was the sole creator of written content and site layout.
